Maximize conversion through deferred payments via Klarna

Maximize conversion through deferred payments via Klarna

In the current payment landscape, there is a lot of innovation in the field of fintech. Currently, Klarna is one of the largest in terms of "deferred" payments. Since 2023, See Tickets customers have been able to offer Klarna as a possible payment method.

If the buyer chooses Klarna in the shop's checkout, the event organizer receives the full order value immediately. This means that you get paid everything upfront, while fans may only pay later within Klarna. The buyer can choose between the following options within Klarna:

  • Pay now;

  • Pay 30 days later;

  • Pay in 3 installments.

These options are further explained on the Klarna website. Furthermore, the buyer is insured via Klarna and, like with credit cards, can file a chargeback if they want to dispute that the product is not satisfactory. Klarna will report this chargeback to our Customer Service, and we will defend it on behalf of our clients as an additional service.

The options offered vary by country.
