Measures Taken by See Tickets/Paylogic for GDPR Compliance

Measures Taken by See Tickets/Paylogic for GDPR Compliance

As an organization, we have taken all necessary measures to ensure compliance with the obligations arising from the GDPR legislation. This article describes in detail what we have done to be well-prepared for these obligations. For further questions, please contact us via the button at the bottom of this page.

Development of New Features

Our team has developed the necessary features to ensure that both See Tickets itself and its customers comply with GDPR obligations. See Tickets has built a feature to process and protect personal information of fans in case of requests, such as information about GDPR, rectification, and deletion of information. This feature provides the ability to anonymize data if the ticket buyer wishes. This is an important part of GDPR legislation, also known as the "right to be forgotten." Fan requests can be forwarded to our Customer Service Team via email
.

By using the Paylogic platform, consumers' personal information is securely stored and accessible to customers via the Backoffice. This information can be modified by the customer and automatically deleted after a certain period.

Updated Data Processing Agreement

See Tickets is the data processor, and the event organizer is the data controller. According to the GDPR, strict rules must be followed regarding data protection. In our updated data processing agreement, the privacy obligations and terms for See Tickets and you are described to comply with GDPR requirements.

Revised Privacy Policy

We have revised our privacy policy, allowing your fans to see how See Tickets collects, uses, and protects data on behalf of the event organizer. You can find our new privacy policy on our website.

Measures from Partners and Suppliers

We are currently evaluating the extent to which our partners and suppliers have taken measures to comply with the GDPR. This may result in a similar (sub) data processing agreement according to GDPR guidelines.

Review of Security Measures and Protocols

See Tickets guarantees that, in accordance with privacy legislation and guidelines from the competent authority, a procedure has been established for data breaches to adequately assess any breaches of personal data. In the event of a data breach, See Tickets will notify the event organizer as well as the competent authority and/or fans under conditions established by the GDPR. This is the case when the breach poses a significant risk to the data subject's fundamental rights to privacy.
