XCover

XCover

See Tickets provides you as an organizer with the tools to create a positive fan experience, fully in line with our white-label philosophy. Part of this are additional services, including a cancellation insurance (Refund Guarantee) for your fans.
  1. Refund Guarantee is managed by insurer XCover and can be offered as an additional service to your fans. The fan takes out a Refund Guarantee during the order process. At the moment a fan takes out a Refund Guarantee, they agree to the terms and conditions of XCover. If the fan is unable to attend your event due to certain events or circumstances, they can then submit a claim to XCover. These circumstances must fall within the applicable terms and conditions. XCover only protects the fan if he or she personally cannot attend the event for the following reasons:
  2. The fan, another ticketholder, or a member of their immediate family is affected by an injury or illness. This also applies to pre-existing medical conditions.
  3. Unexpected disruptions to the public transport network that the fan could not reasonably have known about before the date of the booked event (including disruptions due to transit strikes).
  4. The fan is called up for jury duty which they were not aware of at the time of purchase.

What are the benefits for you as an organizer?
If your fan has taken out a Refund Guarantee with XCover, you as the organizer are not responsible for refunding the order value and the costs of the refund. If the claim is approved, the amount will be reimbursed by XCover, meaning you as the organizer keep the paid ticket revenues and can sell the tickets again.
As an organizer, you offer your fans an extra service to protect themselves against unforeseen events. If you apply a non-refund policy for your events, you still give the fan the option to receive a refund via Refund Guarantee.

How can the fan submit their claim?
The fan receives a confirmation by email after completing the order. In this confirmation email, the fan will find the link to follow up their case with XCover. Via a user-friendly portal, he/she can easily submit a claim and also track the status of the claim.

How can I activate this?
The service for fans, Refund protection, is activated in many cases. Is that not the case for you? Then please contact your client success manager.
