See Tickets provides you, as an organizer, with the tools to create a positive fan experience, fully aligned with our white-label philosophy. Part of this includes offering additional services, such as a cancellation insurance (Refund Guarantee) for your fans.

Refund Guarantee is managed by the insurer XCover and can be offered as an optional service to your fans. Fans can opt in for the Refund Guarantee during the ordering process. When a fan chooses to purchase the Refund Guarantee, they agree to XCover’s terms and conditions. If a fan is unable to attend your event due to certain events or circumstances, they may file a claim with XCover. These circumstances must be covered under XCover’s policy terms. XCover only protects the fan in the following cases:
  1. The fan, another ticket holder, or a close family member suffers an injury or illness (including pre-existing conditions).
  2. Unexpected disruptions in public transport that the fan could not have reasonably foreseen before the date of the booked event (including disruptions caused by transit strikes).
  3. The fan is summoned for jury duty, which they were not aware of at the time of purchase.

What are the benefits for you as an organizer?
If your fan has purchased a Refund Guarantee through XCover, you as the organizer are not responsible for refunding the order amount or covering any refund costs. If the claim is approved, the refund will be paid out by XCover. This allows you to retain the ticket revenue and re-sell the returned tickets.

By offering this service, you provide your fans with an extra level of protection against unforeseen circumstances. Even if your events follow a non-refund policy, this service gives fans an alternative way to receive a refund via the Refund Guarantee.

How can fans submit a claim?
After completing the order, the fan receives a confirmation email that includes a link to follow up their case with XCover.
Through a user-friendly portal, they can easily submit a claim and track its status.

How can I activate this?
In many cases, the Refund Protection service is already activated. If that’s not the case for your setup, please contact your Client Success Manager.
