Create access code(s) for voucher shop

This article explains how to set up an access code for your shop.

  1. Creating a Voucher Group
  2. Go to ‘Dashboard’ and select the desired event.
  3. Navigate to 'Tools' and then 'Vouchers'.
  4. At the bottom, under ‘New voucher group name,’ enter the title of the voucher group. Use a title that makes sense to you for easy reference. This title is not visible to consumers, only in the Backoffice.
  5. Check the radio button for ‘Access voucher’ under ‘Voucher group type,’ and then click on 'Add voucher group'.

Voucher Group Settings

  1. Click on your newly created voucher group.
  2.  Add your Voucher Code(s). This can be done in two ways:  - Manually: Click the pink ‘Add’ button and enter your own Voucher Code(s). If you want to add multiple codes, repeat this step. - CSV file: Upload your own CSV file with multiple discount codes or use this tool to create codes.
  3.  Select the product(s) for which the voucher will be valid.
  4. Choose the minimum and/or maximum number of tickets per order for this specific product.
  5. Want to add more products? Click the green button ‘Add another’.
  6. Specify the start and end dates for when the Voucher Codes are valid and can be entered.
  7. If you are using unique codes that can only be used once, deselect ‘No maximum availability’ and enter ‘1’ under ‘Maximum availability’.

Optional

  1. Choose the minimum and/or maximum number of tickets per order.
  2. Click ‘Save Changes’.

Making the Voucher Code Valid for a Ticket Shop

  1. Go to ‘Sales Configuration’.
  2. Click the three dots on the right of the desired ticket shop where the voucher code should be valid, and go to ‘Edit Sale’.
  3. Scroll down and click on ‘Advanced Settings’.
  4. Add the voucher group you created.
  5. Then click ‘Save Changes’.

Prepare Your Product(s) for the Access Voucher

  1. In the header ‘Settings’, go to ‘Sales Periods’.
  2. Set the product(s) to past dates. For example: starts on ‘yesterday’ and ends on ‘yesterday’.

This is an important step because otherwise, the ticket can be visible to other ticket buyers without the voucher cod
