Activate VAT invoices for consumers

This article explains how to activate VAT invoices so that consumers can generate a VAT invoice themselves after placing an order.
  1. Go to 'Events' and select the desired event.
  2. Go to the 'Tools' section and then to 'Invoices'. Don’t see this option yet? Please contact us to have it enabled.
  3. Tick the option 'Enable VAT invoices' and click 'Save changes'. Once VAT invoices are enabled, the 'VAT invoices overview' tab will also appear. Here you can see all invoices that have been requested for this event.
Warning
Note: The VAT rate is calculated based on the percentage you have set per ticket type via 'Products'. Make sure to check this carefully.
Info
If you only enable VAT invoices after tickets have already been sold, the 'Generate VAT invoice' option will initially be missing from the confirmation email. In that case, advise the consumer to download the invoice via the 'Manage order' button.
