Activate VAT invoices for consumers
This article explains how to enable VAT invoices so that consumers can generate a VAT invoice themselves after placing an order.
- Go to "Events" and select the desired event.
- Go to the "Tools" section and then to "Invoices". Don’t see this option yet? Please contact us to have it enabled.
- Tick the option "Enable VAT invoices" and click "Save changes". After VAT invoices have been enabled, a "VAT invoice overview" tab will appear. Here you can see all invoices that have been requested for this event.
Note: The VAT rate is calculated based on the percentage you configured per ticket type under "Products". Make sure this is set correctly.
If you enable VAT invoices only after tickets have already been sold, the "Generate VAT invoice" option will initially be missing in the confirmation email. In that case, advise the consumer to download the invoice via the "Manage order" button.
