Enable ticket reservations for your event

Enable ticket reservations for your event

With a reservation, a partner, fan, or guest can submit a request for one or more products. You can then manually edit, reject, or approve these requests. You can use this feature as an accreditation tool for partners or guests, or use it to collect pre‑registrations from loyal fans for an exclusive early bird sale!

Setting up the sales channel
  1. Go to "Create" on the left‑hand side and click "Sales channels".
  2. Now click "Create new channel".
  3. Choose "Reservations" as the channel type.
  4. Then go to "Events", open the correct event, click "Sales configuration" and activate the reservation shop you just created. Add the products as you would for a regular sale.
  5. Next, click "Edit" on the right‑hand side to correctly configure the details of the sales channel.
  6. Under "Reservation settings", choose how long a registration remains valid, before and after it has been approved.
  7. Finally, share the Sales URL so that partners or guests can submit their own reservation or registration.
  8. Any payment will only take place after a reservation has been approved (read on in this article for more information).
Manually creating a reservation
  1. In the event settings, go to "Order requests" under "Tools".
  2. Click "Create reservation" and then choose the sales channel you want to use.
  3. Enter the details of the partner/person for whom this reservation is being made.
  4. Select the desired quantity of tickets you want to reserve.
  5. Click the middle button: "Create and approve reservation".
AlertNote: Only choose "Create and approve reservation with bank transfer" if payment via manual bank transfer is required.
This works differently than the regular payment methods.
Managing your reservations
You can view and manage reservations on the overview page. In the desired event, go to "Order requests" under "Tools" to return to this page. On the overview page you can perform various actions on these reservations:
  1. Approve or approve with bank transfer;
  2. Edit (this can also be done by clicking on the reservation itself);
  3. Reject;
  4. Repeat (this allows you to duplicate a reservation with the same details and tickets).
Notes
Once approved, the partner will receive an email with a confirmation and, in the same email, a link to pay for the order. After payment, the partner will receive the tickets. If you choose to reject a reservation, an email will also be sent to confirm the rejection.
Info
If you have already approved a reservation and then change it, you will need to approve the reservation again.
