Prevent ticket fraud with Secure Swap
Of course, nobody wants ticket fraud. Fortunately, together with TicketSwap we have developed a solution for this. Secure Swap makes it possible to make the resale of tickets 100% reliable. When a fan sells a ticket via TicketSwap, the old barcode is cancelled and the buyer automatically receives a new barcode. The personal data of the new buyer is also stored, which has the advantage that you as the organizer collect more data about your visitors. This manual explains step by step how you can activate Secure Swap in the Backoffice.
1: Activate TicketSwap at event level
- Select your desired event
- Go to 'Sales configuration'.
- Click the pink button 'Create new sale'.
- Under 'Channel', select the TicketSwap sales channel.

2: Activate products for TicketSwap
Once you have activated TicketSwap for the event, you only need to activate the products.
- Select 'Sales configuration', then for TicketSwap click the three dots to select 'Products and categories'.
- On the right-hand side you will find a search bar, which you can use to easily assign and activate products in bulk for TicketSwap.
3: Activate the 'Sell on TicketSwap' button
- Go to 'Sales configuration' and open the TicketSwap sales channel.
- Then click 'Edit' and go to 'Advanced settings'. Here you will find the option: 'Allow selling tickets on TicketSwap via MyOrder'.

- By activating this feature, your fans can sell their tickets via TicketSwap, even if 'delayed fulfillment' is enabled.
Do you have questions or want to know more about this feature? Please contact your client success manager, or reach out via the button below.
