Bring supply and demand together by launching your own Waiting List environment
Introduction
Through our waiting list, See Tickets’ customers can offer a place where fans who missed out during the regular capacity can register for a sold-out event or product. Fans who, for various reasons, can no longer attend the event can then offer their tickets for sale on the waiting list. Fans without tickets who have registered for the waiting list are then matched based on the available offers.
Supply and demand
This brings supply and demand together in a safe way. Offering tickets is not a guarantee of sale. The selling fan will only receive a refund of their purchase amount once a match has been made with a buyer and that buyer has paid for the tickets after the match.
Registration
The waiting list is comparable to a shop environment; however, instead of checking out right away, a fan signs up as interested. All registrations are stored in our back office, creating a target group in which a match can be searched for based on the available offers.
Benefits
Below is a summary of the benefits:
Benefit | Benefits |
Safe place for your fans | Your own channels are central in the online fan journey. With a proprietary solution that fits your own brand identity, organisers can offer a safe place where visitors can buy and sell 100% validated tickets. |
Fraud | No fraud and no inflated prices (the money is refunded to the same account that was used to pay). |
Secondary revenue | With your own solution, organisers can pull the entire secondary market towards themselves and implement their own revenue model to increase profitability. |
Revenue per visitor (upsell) | Because the tickets are purchased via your own channels, organisers can make use of the advantages of MyOrder, including higher visibility of the upsell section in MyOrder. This stimulates sales and will increase the average revenue per visitor. |
Data | Generate additional valuable data about your own fan community that would otherwise be lost. By collecting registrations on the waiting list, organisers build a first-party database with hot leads. The data remains fully under your own control and is not shared with external parties. |
