Selling personalized tickets (name on ticket)

Selling personalized tickets (name on ticket)

With personalization you gain insight into who your fans are. In addition to the details of the main buyer, this feature lets you map out all visitors to your event. This not only provides unique insights, but also gives you the opportunity to create or enrich a valuable database of fan profiles.
Info
If you have not used personalization before, contact your client success manager
  1. Navigate to the desired event and go to 'Tools'.
  2. Open 'Personalized tickets'.
  3. Then select 'Enable personalized tickets for this event' and the follow-up option 'Enable Send to friend'. With this extra option, each visitor can personalize their own ticket and it is no longer only the responsibility of the main buyer of an order.
  4. Use 'Start date' and 'End date' to specify the period in which tickets can be personalized. This period does not have to start at the beginning of the sale and may also be set in the future.
  5. Under the 'Products' section, choose for which tickets personalization should be applied. Tickets that are not selected can be downloaded immediately without any additional information having to be entered.
  6. Finally, under 'Consumer fields', decide which information is requested per ticket. The email address is always required in order to send the personalization invitation and, ultimately, the tickets.
 Additional options
  1. Select 'Send reminder when personalization period has started' if you want the buyer to be reminded of this. We recommend enabling this.
  2. Select 'Show warning that all email addresses must be unique' when only one admission ticket may be personalized per email address.
  3. Select 'Allow sending out non-personalized tickets once the personalization period has ended' if tickets may still be sent when they have not been personalized in time.
  4. Under 'Personalization reminders', add additional moments at which the ticket buyer is reminded by email to personalize the tickets.
Because the personalization process takes place after the purchase process, it does not affect conversion or the ordering of tickets in your ticket shop. After placing the order, the fan receives a confirmation and a request to personalize the tickets. Personalizing (putting a name on) tickets can be done at any time between purchase and the event. As soon as all tickets are personalized, the main buyer receives all tickets to distribute them, if applicable.
