Send to Friend is an additional feature, and can only be used if personalisation has been activated.
The main booker can use Send to Friend to send his or her friends a request for personalisation.
This can be done by entering a friend’s email address, but also by sending a link via social media, for example.
Why?
Among other things, this results in more accurate fan data and makes it possible for every unique visitor to individually agree, via a marketing opt-in, to the conditions regarding the use of his or her personal data for marketing purposes. With mandatory personalisation, this results not only in complete and accurate insight into who your visitors are, but also in valuable and actionable fan data!
Fans can choose from two options:
- Share via link: this option generates a link that can be shared with a friend. The fan can decide for themselves via which application the link is shared, for example: WhatsApp, Telegram and Instagram. When the friend clicks on the link, they are redirected to a new page where they can enter their own email address. The friend then receives an email with the option to claim/personalise their own ticket.
- Share via email: An email is sent to the fan’s friend, and in this email fans can claim the ticket.
