Create a Wallet Pass template

Follow the steps below to create a Wallet Pass template:
  1. In the backoffice, go to 'Create' and select 'Wallet Pass'.
  2. Click 'Create a new Wallet Pass template'.
  3. Give the Wallet Pass a name that is easy for you to remember. 
  4. A Wallet Pass template consists of two pass types: Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Let’s start with Apple Wallet.
  5. Fill in the fields with colours and images as desired in the Apple Wallet tab to create a template that matches your event design.

Note: When a background image is set for the Apple Wallet Pass, the text is automatically changed to white by Apple.
6. Explanation of the image fields:
  1. Icon: Image that is shown in the notification on the user’s iPhone home screen.
  1. Logo: Displayed in the top left of the pass.
  2. Thumbnail: Displayed in the middle right of the pass.
  3. Background image: Used as the background for the pass.
Info
Please note that Apple automatically applies a blur effect to the background image.
7. After you have completed the fields for the Apple Wallet pass, you can continue to Google Wallet by clicking the 'Next - Google Wallet' button.
8. Configure the fields here as well to match your event design and complete the template by clicking 'Create template'.
Linking Wallet Passes to an event
  1. From 'Dashboard', go to the desired event.
  2. Click 'Settings' and then go to the 'E-ticket templates' section.
  3. Under the 'Wallet Pass' box, select your own Wallet Pass.
  4. Finally, click the pink 'Save changes' button.
